Energizer Australia launches 'Toy Rescue' campaign with the team from Ten's Bondi Rescue

Energizer Australia this week launched the 'Toy Rescue' program, with the aim of collecting, polishing and repowering pre-loved battery-powered toys that are no longer needed, before donating them to families in need in Australia.

The integrated social campaign developed by Integer in partnership with Tequila and Eleven PR, is the first of Energizer Australia's That's Positivenergy new brand platform initiatives. It's been designed to bring a little more positive energy and a lot more smiles to families and communities in partnership with Mission Australia.

Collection points have been coordinated in each state and a Toy Rescue van will be travelling to schools in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Hoppo, Harries and Deano, lifeguards from Channel 10's Bondi Rescue, (pictured above with pupils from Castle Cove Primary School), in order to rescue donated toys.

A Facebook site shows where all the collection points are and how to donate

Energizer Australia marketing manager, Joy Delis said: "We at Energizer believe that everyone has the power to make a positive impact, in our own community and beyond. We are excited to launch Toy Rescue as the first of our That's Positivenergy initiatives here in Australia."
