Laura Andon |
Laura Andon first caught the media’s attention as a pro surfer and model, but it was her outgoing and spirited personality, which carved her career as an inspirational author, respected presenter, model, actor and brand ambassador.
It is not every day one comes across a personality such as Laura who can ride a board at the most elite of levels, skate a ramp, model a front cover of a magazine, hold a crowd presenting as well as possess the natural ability to instantly morph into character. Laura however demonstrates all of these talents and does so with humility and a smile.
Laura is heavily involved in a number of community initiatives, is a great role model and would be a very respected and valued brand advocate for any company she was to represent.
Surfing since she was seventeen, Laura went pro in 2004 securing a two-year sponsorship with giant surf company, Billabong. During those years of competition, Laura emerged as a radio personality on 2SSR 99.7 FM, signed to promote female surfing and give listeners an insight on upcoming events.

Laura uses surfing as a metaphor and her book encourages people to stand up for themselves, both in and out of the water, helping to turn dreams into reality. Her school tour around the country has already inspired many students to go out and reach their true potential. Laura’s natural ease in building a rapport with the younger generation is a testament to her ability to connect and make a positive impact.
